And the child grew and became strong, ¹  filled with wisdom, ²  and the favor ³  of God ⁴  was upon him.

Then ¹  he began to tell them, “Today ²  this scripture has been fulfilled even as you heard it being read.” ³ 

After Jesus ¹  had finished teaching all this to the people, ²  he entered Capernaum. ³ 

They appeared in glorious splendor and spoke about his departure ¹  that he was about to carry out ²  at Jerusalem. ³ 

For I tell you, I will not eat it again ¹  until it is fulfilled ²  in the kingdom of God.” ³ 

Every valley will be filled, ¹  and every mountain and hill will be brought low, and the crooked will be made straight, and the rough ways will be made smooth,

And now, ¹  because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time, ²  you will be silent, unable to speak, ³  until the day these things take place.”

They ¹  will fall by the edge ²  of the sword and be led away as captives ³  among all nations. Jerusalem ⁴  will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. ⁵ 

Then ¹  he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me ²  in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms ³  must be fulfilled.”
