<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I heard what sounded like the voice of a vast throng, like the roar of many waters and like loud crashes of thunder. They were shouting:<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;Hallelujah!p> <p class="poetry">For the Lord our God,<n id="3" /> the All-Powerful,<n id="4" /> reigns!p>

His feet were like polished bronze<n id="1" /> refined<n id="2" /> in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar<n id="3" /> of many waters.

So<n id="1" /> I began weeping bitterly<n id="2" /> because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.

Then<n id="1" /> they<n id="2" /> told me: &#8220;You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations,<n id="3" /> languages, and kings.&#8221;p>

They had breastplates<n id="1" /> like iron breastplates, and the sound of their wings was like the noise of many horse-drawn chariots charging into battle.

<p class="bodytext">After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying,p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,p>

His eyes are like a fiery<n id="1" /> flame and there are many diadem crowns<n id="2" /> on his head. He has<n id="3" /> a name written<n id="4" /> that no one knows except himself.

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I looked and heard the voice of many angels in a circle around the throne, as well as the living creatures and the elders. Their<n id="2" /> number was ten thousand times ten thousand<n id="3" /> &#8211; thousands times thousands &#8211;

(Now<n id="1" /> the name of the star is<n id="2" /> Wormwood.)<n id="3" /> So<n id="4" /> a third of the waters became wormwood,<n id="5" /> and many people died from these waters because they were poisoned.<n id="6" />p>

I also heard a sound<n id="1" /> coming out of heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. Now<n id="2" /> the sound I heard was like that made by harpists playing their harps,

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke to me.<n id="2" /> &#8220;Come,&#8221; he said, &#8220;I will show you the condemnation and punishment<n id="3" /> of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,

<p class="bodytext">After these things I looked, and here was<n id="1" /> an enormous crowd that no one could count, made up of persons from every nation, tribe,<n id="2" /> people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in long white robes, and with palm branches in their hands.

Another<n id="1" /> angel holding<n id="2" /> a golden censer<n id="3" /> came and was stationed<n id="4" /> at the altar. A<n id="5" /> large amount of incense was given to him to offer up, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar that is before the throne.
