nor are all the children Abraham&#8217;s true descendants; rather &#8220;<b><i>through Isaac will your descendants be countedi>b>.&#8221;<n id="1" />

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant.<n id="1" /> Scripture<n id="2" /> does not say, &#8220;and to the descendants<sc>,&#8221;sc><n id="3" /> referring to many, but &#8220;<b><i>and to your descendanti>b><sc>,&#8221;sc><n id="4" /> referring to one, who is Christ.

None of the seven had children. Finally, the woman died too.

From the descendants<n id="1" /> of this man<n id="2" /> God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, just as he promised.<n id="3" />

concerning his Son who was a descendant<n id="1" /> of David with reference to the flesh,<n id="2" />

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham&#8217;s descendants,<n id="1" /> heirs according to the promise.p>

<p class="bodytext">Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David;<n id="1" /> such is my gospel,<n id="2" />

For surely his concern is not for angels, but he is concerned for Abraham&#8217;s descendants.

God had told him, &#8220;<b><i>Through Isaac descendants will carry on your namei>b>,&#8221;<n id="1" />

He<n id="1" /> answered, &#8220;The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.

There were seven brothers. The first one married,<n id="1" /> and when he died he had no children.

The second married her and died without any children, and likewise the third.

<p class="poetry">as he promised<n id="1" /> to our ancestors,<n id="2" /> to Abraham and to his descendants<n id="3" /> forever.&#8221;p>

But God gives it a body just as he planned, and to each of the seeds a body of its own.

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I.

<t /><p class="bodytext">He presented them with another parable:<n id="1" /> &#8220;The kingdom of heaven is like a person who sowed good seed in his field.

So the slaves<n id="1" /> of the owner came and said to him, &#8216;Sir, didn&#8217;t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?&#8217;

It is like a mustard seed<n id="1" /> that when sown in the ground, even though it is the smallest of all the seeds in the ground &#8211;

Don&#8217;t the scriptures say that the Christ is <i>a descendanti><n id="1" /> <i>of Davidi><n id="2" /> and <i>comes from Bethlehemi>,<n id="3" /> the village where David lived?&#8221;<n id="4" />

&#8220;We are descendants<n id="1" /> of Abraham,&#8221; they replied,<n id="2" /> &#8220;and have never been anyone&#8217;s slaves! How can you say,<n id="3" /> &#8216;You will become free&#8217;?&#8221;
