And he placed his hands on them and went on his way.<n id="1" />p>

He touched her hand, and the fever left her. Then<n id="1" /> she got up and began to serve them.

But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and gently took her by the hand, and the girl got up.

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him, saying to him, &#8220;You of little faith, why did you doubt?&#8221;

These are the things that defile a person; it is not eating with unwashed hands that defiles a person.&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

He stretched out his hand and touched<n id="1" /> him saying, &#8220;I am willing. Be clean!&#8221; Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

A<n id="1" /> man was there who had a withered<n id="2" /> hand. And they asked Jesus,<n id="3" /> &#8220;Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?&#8221;<n id="4" /> so that they could accuse him.

Then he said to the man, &#8220;Stretch out your hand.&#8221; He stretched it out and it was restored,<n id="1" /> as healthy as the other.

And pointing<n id="1" /> toward his disciples he said, &#8220;Here<n id="2" /> are my mother and my brothers!

&#8220;Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don&#8217;t wash their<n id="1" /> hands when they eat.&#8221;<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">When<n id="1" /> they gathered together in Galilee, Jesus told them, &#8220;The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then little children were brought to him for him to lay his hands on them and pray.<n id="1" /> But the disciples scolded those who brought them.<n id="2" />

He<n id="1" /> answered, &#8220;The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me<n id="2" /> will betray me.

Jesus<n id="1" /> said to him, &#8220;Friend, do what you are here to do.&#8221; Then they came and took hold<n id="2" /> of Jesus and arrested him.

If<n id="1" /> your hand or your foot causes you to sin,<n id="2" /> cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than to have<n id="3" /> two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.

His winnowing fork<n id="1" /> is in his hand, and he will clean out his threshing floor and will gather his wheat into the storehouse,<n id="2" /> but the chaff he will burn up with inextinguishable fire.&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

and said to him, &#8220;If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written, &#8216;<b><i>He will command his angels concerning youi>b>&#8217;<n id="1" /> and &#8216;<b><i>with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stonei>b>.&#8217;&#8221;<n id="2" />

If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away! It is better to lose one of your members than to have your whole body go into hell.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">As he was saying these things, a ruler came, bowed low before him, and said, &#8220;My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her and she will live.&#8221;

Then the king said to his attendants, &#8216;Tie him up hand and foot and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!&#8217;
