After Herod ¹  had died, an ²  angel of the Lord ³  appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt

When Joseph awoke from sleep he did what the angel of the Lord ¹  told him. He took his wife,

Suddenly there was a severe earthquake, for an angel of the Lord ¹  descending from heaven came and rolled away the stone and sat on it.

But the angel said ¹  to the women, “Do not be afraid; I know ²  that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. ³ 

When he had contemplated this, an ¹  angel of the Lord ²  appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

After they had gone, an ¹  angel of the Lord ²  appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Get up, take the child and his mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod ³  is going to look for the child to kill him.”
