and said to them, &#8220;Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?&#8221;<n id="1" /> They replied,<n id="2" /> &#8220;No, we have not even<n id="3" /> heard that there is a Holy Spirit.&#8221;

<p class="poetry">because he who is mighty<n id="1" /> has done great things for me, and holy is his name;p>

And after he said this, he breathed on them and said,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Receive the Holy Spirit.<n id="2" />

These two<n id="1" /> went down and prayed for them so that they would receive the Holy Spirit.

Then Peter and John placed their hands on the Samaritans,<n id="1" /> and they received the Holy Spirit.<n id="2" />p>

In him<n id="1" /> the whole building,<n id="2" /> being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment<n id="1" /> what you must say.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

But you rejected<n id="1" /> the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a man who was a murderer be released to you.

And God, who knows the heart,<n id="1" /> has testified<n id="2" /> to them by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us,<n id="3" />

except<n id="1" /> that the Holy Spirit warns<n id="2" /> me in town after town<n id="3" /> that<n id="4" /> imprisonment<n id="5" /> and persecutions<n id="6" /> are waiting for me.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin&#8221;<n id="1" />

And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the person who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit<n id="1" /> will not be forgiven.<n id="2" />
