They ¹  laid hands on ²  the apostles and put them in a public jail.

They stood these men before the apostles, who prayed ¹  and placed ²  their hands on them.

Then Peter and John placed their hands on the Samaritans, ¹  and they received the Holy Spirit. ² 

Then, after they had fasted ¹  and ²  prayed and placed their hands ³  on them, they sent them off.

So ¹  they seized ²  them and put them in jail ³  until the next day (for it was already evening).

and he has seen in a vision ¹  a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he may see again.”

About that time King Herod ¹  laid hands on ²  some from the church to harm them. ³ 

saying, “Give me this power ¹  too, so that everyone I place my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”

and when Paul placed ¹  his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came ²  upon them, and they began to speak ³  in tongues and to prophesy. ⁴ 

He came ¹  to us, took ²  Paul’s belt, ³  tied ⁴  his own hands and feet with it, ⁵  and said, “The Holy Spirit says this: ‘This is the way the Jews in Jerusalem will tie up the man whose belt this is, and will hand him over ⁶  to the Gentiles.’”

When the seven days were almost over, ¹  the Jews from the province of Asia ²  who had seen him in the temple area ³  stirred up the whole crowd ⁴  and seized ⁵  him,

The father ¹  of Publius lay sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him ²  and after praying, placed ³  his hands on him and healed ⁴  him.

So Ananias departed and entered the house, placed ¹  his hands on Saul ²  and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came here, ³  has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” ⁴ 

After three days ¹  Paul ²  called the local Jewish leaders ³  together. When they had assembled, he said to them, “Brothers, ⁴  although I had done ⁵  nothing against our people or the customs of our ancestors, ⁶  from Jerusalem ⁷  I was handed over as a prisoner to the Romans. ⁸
