But I do not allow<n id="1" /> a woman to teach or exercise authority<n id="2" /> over a man. She must remain quiet.<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">I wrote<n id="1" /> the former<n id="2" /> account,<n id="3" /> Theophilus,<n id="4" /> about all that Jesus began to do and teach

angry<n id="1" /> because they were teaching the people and announcing<n id="2" /> in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.

And they called them in and ordered<n id="1" /> them not to speak or teach at all in the name<n id="2" /> of Jesus.

<p class="bodytext">When<n id="1" /> Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.p>

As Jesus<n id="1" /> came ashore<n id="2" /> he saw the large crowd and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So<n id="3" /> he taught them many things.p>

<p class="bodytext">Then the Jewish leaders<n id="1" /> said to one another, &#8220;Where is he<n id="2" /> going to go that we cannot find him?<n id="3" /> He is not going to go to the Jewish people dispersed<n id="4" /> among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, is he?<n id="5" />

saying, &#8220;We gave<n id="1" /> you strict orders<n id="2" /> not to teach in this name.<n id="3" /> Look,<n id="4" /> you have filled Jerusalem<n id="5" /> with your teaching, and you intend to bring this man&#8217;s blood<n id="6" /> on us!&#8221;

For though you should in fact be teachers by this time,<n id="1" /> you need someone to teach you the beginning elements of God&#8217;s utterances.<n id="2" /> You have gone back to needing<n id="3" /> milk, not<n id="4" /> solid food.

When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue.<n id="1" /> Many who heard him were astonished, saying, &#8220;Where did he get these ideas?<n id="2" /> And what is this wisdom that has been given to him? What are these miracles that are done through his hands?
