So ¹  when the devil ²  had completed every temptation, he departed from him until a more opportune time. ³ 

They served only for matters of food and drink ¹  and various washings; they are external regulations ²  imposed until the new order came. ³ 

For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared ¹  to the glory that will be revealed to us.

They ¹  cried out, “Son of God, leave us alone! ²  Have you come here to torment us before the time?” ³ 

Now ¹  look, the hand of the Lord is against ²  you, and you will be blind, unable to see the sun for a time!” Immediately mistiness ³  and darkness came over ⁴  him, and he went around seeking people ⁵  to lead him by the hand.

So then, do not judge anything before the time. Wait until the Lord comes. He will ¹  bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the motives of hearts. Then each will receive recognition ²  from God.

But ¹  the woman was given the two wings of a giant eagle so that she could fly out into the wilderness, ²  to the place God ³  prepared for her, where she is taken care of – away from the presence of the serpent – for a time, times, and half a time. ⁴
