Hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you when he said,p>

Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them about John the Baptist.p>

When it was about nine o&#8217;clock in the morning,<n id="1" /> he went out again and saw others standing around in the marketplace without work.

So they went. When<n id="1" /> he went out again about noon and three o&#8217;clock that afternoon,<n id="2" /> he did the same thing.

When those hired about five o&#8217;clock came, each received a full day&#8217;s pay.<n id="1" />

<p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> when the other ten<n id="2" /> heard this,<n id="3" /> they were angry with the two brothers.

When<n id="1" /> the chief priests and the Pharisees<n id="2" /> heard his parables, they realized that he was speaking about them.

Now as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God,<n id="1" />

&#8220;What do you think about the Christ?<n id="1" /> Whose son is he?&#8221; They said, &#8220;The son of David.&#8221;<n id="2" />

for this is my blood, the blood<n id="1" /> of the covenant,<n id="2" /> that is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Why do you worry about clothing? Think about how the flowers<n id="1" /> of the field grow; they do not work<n id="2" /> or spin.

When<n id="1" /> he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were bewildered and helpless,<n id="2" /> like sheep without a shepherd.

<p class="bodytext">While they were going away, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: &#8220;What did you go out into the wilderness<n id="1" /> to see? A reed shaken by the wind?<n id="2" />

I<n id="1" /> tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak.

How could you not understand that I was not speaking to you about bread? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees!&#8221;

And about five o&#8217;clock that afternoon<n id="1" /> he went out and found others standing around, and said to them, &#8216;Why are you standing here all day without work?&#8217;

He<n id="1" /> sent them to Bethlehem and said, &#8220;Go and look carefully for the child. When you find him, inform me so that I can go and worship him as well.&#8221;
