<t /><p class="bodytext">Then he called the crowd to him and said,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Listen and understand.

He called a child, had him stand among them,

So<n id="1" /> he called one of the slaves<n id="2" /> and asked what was happening.

So<n id="1" /> he called them and spoke to them in parables:<n id="2" /> &#8220;How can Satan cast out Satan?

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> he called the crowd again and said to them, &#8220;Listen to me, everyone, and understand.

Pilate was surprised that he was already dead. He<n id="1" /> called the centurion and asked him if he had been dead for some time.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Jesus<n id="1" /> called his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits<n id="2" /> so they could cast them out and heal every kind of disease and sickness.<n id="3" />

Then his lord called the first slave<n id="1" /> and said to him, &#8216;Evil slave! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me!

But Jesus called them and said, &#8220;You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in high positions use their authority over them.

<t /><p class="bodytext">In those days there was another large crowd with nothing to eat. So<n id="1" /> Jesus<n id="2" /> called his disciples and said to them,

So<n id="1" /> he contacted<n id="2" /> his master&#8217;s debtors one by one. He asked the first, &#8216;How much do you owe my master?&#8217;

who was with the proconsul<n id="1" /> Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. The proconsul<n id="2" /> summoned<n id="3" /> Barnabas and Saul and wanted to hear<n id="4" /> the word of God.

Paul called<n id="1" /> one of the centurions<n id="2" /> and said, &#8220;Take this young man to the commanding officer,<n id="3" /> for he has something to report to him.&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> Jesus<n id="2" /> called the crowd, along with his disciples, and said to them, &#8220;If anyone wants to become my follower,<n id="3" /> he must deny<n id="4" /> himself, take up his cross,<n id="5" /> and follow me.

Jesus called them and said to them, &#8220;You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in high positions use their authority over them.

He called his disciples and said to them, &#8220;I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> this poor widow has put more into the offering box<n id="2" /> than all the others.<n id="3" />

and sent them to Jesus<n id="1" /> to ask,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Are you the one who is to come,<n id="3" /> or should we look for another?&#8221;

So the centurion<n id="1" /> took him and brought him to the commanding officer<n id="2" /> and said, &#8220;The prisoner Paul called<n id="3" /> me and asked me to bring this young man to you because he has something to tell you.&#8221;

Then<n id="1" /> he summoned<n id="2" /> two of the centurions<n id="3" /> and said, &#8220;Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea<n id="4" /> along with seventy horsemen<n id="5" /> and two hundred spearmen<n id="6" /> by<n id="7" /> nine o&#8217;clock tonight,<n id="8" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then Jesus called the<n id="1" /> disciples and said, &#8220;I have compassion on the crowd, because they have already been here with me three days and they have nothing to eat. I don&#8217;t want to send them away hungry since they may faint on the way.&#8221;
