They ¹  called out to ask if Simon, known as Peter, ²  was staying there as a guest.

Now in that city was a man named Simon, who had been practicing magic ¹  and amazing the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great.

Even Simon himself believed, and after he was baptized, he stayed close to ¹  Philip constantly, and when he saw the signs and great miracles that were occurring, he was amazed. ² 

Now Simon, when he saw that the Spirit ¹  was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, offered them money,

But Simon replied, ¹  “You pray to the Lord for me so that nothing of what you have said may happen to ²  me.”

When ¹  they had entered Jerusalem, ²  they went to the upstairs room where they were staying. Peter ³  and John, and James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James were there. ⁴
