<t /><p class="bodytext">Now the time came<n id="1" /> for Elizabeth to have her baby,<n id="2" /> and she gave birth to a son.

<t /><p class="bodytext">But<n id="1" /> he said to them, &#8220;How is it that they say that the Christ<n id="2" /> is David&#8217;s son?<n id="3" />

But Jesus said to him, &#8220;Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?&#8221;<n id="1" />

But the angel said to him, &#8220;Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard,<n id="1" /> and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son; you<n id="2" /> will name him John.<n id="3" />

And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in strips of cloth<n id="1" /> and laid him in a manger,<n id="2" /> because there was no place for them in the inn.<n id="3" />p>

saying, &#8220;The Son of Man must suffer<n id="1" /> many things and be rejected by the elders,<n id="2" /> chief priests, and experts in the law,<n id="3" /> and be killed, and on the third day be raised.&#8221;<n id="4" />p>

Jesus answered,<n id="1" /> &#8220;You<n id="2" /> unbelieving<n id="3" /> and perverse generation! How much longer<n id="4" /> must I be with you and endure<n id="5" /> you?<n id="6" /> Bring your son here.&#8221;
