Then ¹  he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. ²  Go in peace.”

“Do not be afraid, people of Zion; ¹  look, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt!” ² 

and when he had been abandoned, ¹  Pharaoh’s daughter adopted ²  him and brought him up ³  as her own son.

But on Herod’s birthday, the daughter of Herodias danced before them and pleased Herod,

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. ¹  Go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house saying, “Your daughter has died. Why trouble the teacher any longer?”

There was also a prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old, ¹  having been married to her husband for seven years until his death.

because he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. ¹  As Jesus was on his way, the crowds pressed ²  around him.

While he was still speaking, someone from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher any longer.”

As he was saying these things, a ruler came, bowed low before him, and said, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her and she will live.”

A ¹  Canaanite woman from that area came ²  and cried out, ³  “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is horribly demon-possessed!”

Then ¹  Jesus answered her, “Woman, ²  your faith is great! Let what you want be done for you.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.

They will be divided, ¹  father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”
