“When someone’s body has a boil on its skin ¹  and it heals,

The priest is to go outside the camp and examine the infection. ¹  If the infection of the diseased person has been healed, ² 

If, as far as the priest can see, the scall has stayed the same ¹  and black hair has sprouted in it, the scall has been healed; the person is clean. So the priest is to pronounce him clean. ² 

“If, however, the priest enters ¹  and examines it, and the ²  infection has not spread in the house after the house has been replastered, then the priest is to pronounce the house clean because the infection has been healed.

If, however, ¹  the raw flesh once again turns white, ²  then he must come to the priest.

“This is the law of the diseased person on the day of his purification, when ¹  he is brought to the priest. ² 

and the priest is to offer ¹  the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. So the priest is to make atonement for him and he will be clean.

and the remainder of the olive oil ¹  that is in his hand the priest is to put on the head of the one being cleansed. So the priest is to make atonement for him before the Lord.

“‘When the man with the discharge becomes clean from his discharge he is to count off for himself seven days for his purification, and he must wash his clothes, bathe in fresh water, ¹  and be clean.

Then the priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one being cleansed, ¹  on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe ²  of his right foot.

The priest will then put some of the rest of the olive oil that is in his hand ¹  on the right earlobe of the one being cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the blood of the guilt offering,
