Under the platform their wings were stretched out, each toward the other. Each of the beings also had two wings covering ¹  its body.

Indeed! All lives are mine – the life of the father as well as the life of the son is mine. The one ¹  who sins will die.

In the fire ¹  were what looked like ²  four living beings. ³  In their appearance they had human form, ⁴ 

The young men of On and of Pi-beseth ¹  will die by the sword; and the cities will go ²  into captivity.

Now the upper chambers were narrower, because the galleries took more space from them than from the lower and middle chambers of the building.

Below these chambers was a passage on the east side as one enters from the outer court.

Samaria has not committed half the sins you have; you have done more abominable deeds than they did. ¹  You have made your sisters appear righteous with all the abominable things you have done.

But upright men will punish them appropriately for their adultery and bloodshed, ¹  because they are adulteresses and blood is on their hands.

For they were in three stories and had no pillars like the pillars of the courts; therefore the upper chambers ¹  were set back from the ground more than the lower and upper ones.

When the priests enter, then they will not go out from the sanctuary to the outer court without taking off their garments in which they minister, for these are holy; they will put on other garments, then they will go near the places where the people are.”

Then he said to me, “The north chambers and the south chambers which face the courtyard are holy chambers where the priests ¹  who approach the Lord will eat the most holy offerings. There they will place the most holy offerings – the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, because the place is holy.
