with the best ¹  of the ancient mountains and the harvest produced by the age-old hills;

You shine brightly and reveal your majesty, as you descend from the hills where you killed your prey. ¹ 

For every wild animal in the forest belongs to me, as well as the cattle that graze on a thousand hills. ¹ 

Written by the Korahites; a psalm, a song. The Lord’s city is in the holy hills. ² 

O Lord, in your good favor you made me secure. ¹  Then you rejected me ²  and I was terrified.

Your justice is like the highest mountains, ¹  your fairness like the deepest sea; you preserve ²  mankind and the animal kingdom. ³

He takes his battle position ¹  and shakes ²  the earth; with a mere look he frightens ³  the nations. The ancient mountains disintegrate; ⁴  the primeval hills are flattened. He travels on the ancient roads. ⁵
