I ¹  am deprived ²  of peace; ³  I have forgotten what happiness ⁴  is.

כ (Kaf) For the Lord ¹  will not reject us forever. ² 

But Israel has rejected what is morally good; so an enemy will pursue him.

But ¹  you rejected and embarrassed us! You did not go into battle with our armies. ² 

I asked, ¹  “Will the Lord reject me forever? Will he never again show me his favor?
