Job took a shard of broken pottery to scrape<n id="1" /> himself<n id="2" /> with while he was sitting<n id="3" /> among the ashes.<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">he lived in ruined towns<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">and in houses where<n id="2" /> no one lives,p> <p class="poetry">where they are ready to crumble into heaps.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">There are those<n id="1" /> who rebel against the light;p> <p class="poetry">they do not know its waysp> <p class="poetry">and they do not stay on its paths.p>

<p class="poetry">I chose<n id="1" /> the way for them<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">and sat as their chief;<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">I lived like a king among his troops;p> <p class="poetry">I was like one who comforts mourners.<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">He does not take his eyes<n id="1" /> off the righteous;p> <p class="poetry">but with kings on the thronep> <p class="poetry">he seats the righteous<n id="2" /> and exalts them forever.<n id="3" />p>
