They had human hands ¹  under their wings on their four sides. As for the faces and wings of the four of them,

Each had four faces; each had four wings and the form of human hands under the wings.

When they moved, I heard the sound of their wings – it was like the sound of rushing waters, or the voice of the Almighty, ¹  or the tumult ²  of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings.

but each had four faces and four wings.

But take a few strands of hair ¹  from those and tie them in the ends of your garment. ² 

(The cherubim appeared to have the form ¹  of human hands under their wings.)

Their wings were spread out above them; each had two wings touching the wings of one of the other beings on either side and two wings covering their bodies.

Then there was a voice from above the platform over their heads when they stood still. ¹ 

The sound of the wings of the cherubim could be heard from the outer court, like the sound of the sovereign God ¹  when he speaks.

along with their entire bodies, ¹  their backs, their hands, and their wings. The wheels of the four of them were full of eyes all around.

Then the cherubim spread ¹  their wings with their wheels alongside them while the glory of the God of Israel hovered above them.

their wings touched each other; they did not turn as they moved, but went straight ahead. ¹ 

Under the platform their wings were stretched out, each toward the other. Each of the beings also had two wings covering ¹  its body.

and the sound of the living beings’ wings brushing against each other, and the sound of the wheels alongside them, a great rumbling sound.

“You, son of man – this is what the sovereign Lord says to the land of Israel: An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land! ¹ 

When the cherubim moved, the wheels moved beside them; when the cherubim spread ¹  their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels did not move from their side.

You will fall dead on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the people who are with you. I give you as food to every kind of bird and every wild beast.

The cherubim spread ¹  their wings, and they rose up from the earth ²  while I watched (when they went the wheels went alongside them). They stopped at the entrance to the east gate of the Lord’s temple as the glory of the God of Israel hovered above them.

“‘Then I passed by you and watched you, noticing ¹  that you had reached the age for love. ²  I spread my cloak ³  over you and covered your nakedness. I swore a solemn oath to you and entered into a marriage covenant with you, declares the sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

Say to them: ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: ¹  “‘A great eagle ²  with broad wings, long feathers, ³  with full plumage which was multi-hued, ⁴  came to Lebanon ⁵  and took the top of the cedar.
