These curses ¹  will be a perpetual sign and wonder with reference to you and your descendants. ² 

And he ¹  brought signs and great, devastating wonders on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on his whole family ²  before our very eyes.

Therefore the Lord brought us out of Egypt with tremendous strength and power, ¹  as well as with great awe-inspiring signs and wonders.

Your eyes have seen the great judgments, ¹  those signs and mighty wonders.

Suppose a prophet or one who foretells by dreams ¹  should appear among you and show you a sign or wonder, ² 

and the sign or wonder should come to pass concerning what he said to you, namely, “Let us follow other gods” – gods whom you have not previously known – “and let us serve them.”

He did ¹  all the signs and wonders the Lord had sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, all his servants, and the whole land,

Or has God ¹  ever before tried to deliver ²  a nation from the middle of another nation, accompanied by judgments, ³  signs, wonders, war, strength, power, ⁴  and other very terrifying things like the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?

the great judgments ¹  you saw, the signs and wonders, the strength and power ²  by which he ³  brought you out – thus the Lord your God will do to all the people you fear.
