Joshua son of Nun, the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s servant, died at the age of one hundred ten.

So Gideon took ten of his servants<n id="1" /> and did just as the <sc>Lordsc> had told him. He was too afraid of his father&#8217;s family<n id="2" /> and the men of the city to do it in broad daylight, so he waited until nighttime.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="bodytext">He was very thirsty, so he cried out to the <sc>Lordsc> and said, &#8220;You have given your servant<n id="1" /> this great victory. But now must I die of thirst and fall into hands of the Philistines?&#8221;<n id="2" />

We have enough straw and grain for our donkeys, and there is enough food and wine for me, your female servant,<n id="1" /> and the young man who is with your servants.<n id="2" /> We lack nothing.&#8221;
