I myself will feed my sheep and I myself will make them lie down, declares the sovereign Lord.

and say: “‘What a lioness was your mother among the lions! She lay among young lions; ¹  she reared her cubs.

Tell them, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: “‘Look, I am against ¹  you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster ²  lying in the midst of its waterways, who has said, “My Nile is my own, I made it for myself.” ³ 

In a good pasture I will feed them; the mountain heights of Israel will be their pasture. There they will lie down in a lush ¹  pasture, and they will feed on rich grass on the mountains of Israel.
