and Aaron and his sons must wash their hands and their feet from it. ¹ 

So he brought him to his house and fed the donkeys. They washed their feet and had a meal. ¹ 

for they ¹  are eager ²  to inflict harm, ³  and they hasten ⁴  to shed blood. ⁵

The combined wingspan of these cherubim was 30 feet. ¹  They stood upright, facing inward. ²

Then the Lord spoke about these people. ¹  “They truly ²  love to go astray. They cannot keep from running away from me. ³  So I am not pleased with them. I will now call to mind ⁴  the wrongs they have done ⁵  and punish them for their sins.”

When they brought the kings out to Joshua, he ¹  summoned all the men of Israel and said to the commanders of the troops who accompanied him, “Come here ²  and put your feet on the necks of these kings.” So they came up ³  and put their feet on their necks.
