Confirm to your servant your promise, ¹  which you made to the one who honors you. ² 

When you see ¹  your neighbor’s donkey or ox fallen along the road, do not ignore it; ²  instead, you must be sure ³  to help him get the animal on its feet again. ⁴ 

So now, O Lord God, make this promise you have made about your servant and his family a permanent reality. ¹  Do as you promised, ²
