The divisions of Aaron’s descendants were as follows: The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Preparations were made, ¹  and the priests stood at their posts and the Levites in their divisions as prescribed by the king.

This is the land which you will allot to the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, declares the sovereign Lord.

Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and Levites to do their assigned tasks ¹  – to offer burnt sacrifices and present offerings and to serve, give thanks, and offer praise in the gates of the Lord’s sanctuary. ²
