<p class="poetry">For the <sc>Lordsc> vindicates<n id="1" /> his people,p> <p class="poetry">and has compassion on his servants.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">The <sc>Lordsc> judges the nations.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">Vindicate me, <sc>Lordsc>, because I am innocent,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">because I am blameless,<n id="3" /> O Exalted One!<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">Say among the nations, &#8220;The <sc>Lordsc> reigns!p> <p class="poetry">The world is established, it cannot be moved.p> <p class="poetry">He judges the nations fairly.&#8221;p>

<p class="poetry">He executes judgment<n id="1" /> against<n id="2" /> the nations;p> <p class="poetry">he fills the valleys with corpses;<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">he shatters their heads over the vast battlefield.<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">The <sc>Lordsc> will judge his people,p> <p class="poetry">and will change his plans concerning<n id="1" /> his servants;p> <p class="poetry">when he sees that their power has disappeared,p> <p class="poetry">and that no one is left, whether confined or set free.p>

<p class="poetry">The <sc>Lordsc> shatters<n id="1" /> his adversaries;<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">he thunders against them from<n id="3" /> the heavens.p> <p class="poetry">The <sc>Lordsc> executes judgment to the ends of the earth.p> <p class="poetry">He will strengthen<n id="4" /> his kingp> <p class="poetry">and exalt the power<n id="5" /> of his anointed one.&#8221;<n id="6" />p>
