<p class="poetry">You must recognize the authority of the <sc>Lordsc> who commands armies.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">He is the one you must respect;p> <p class="poetry">he is the one you must fear.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">An honorable man makes honorable plans;p> <p class="poetry">his honorable character gives him security.<n id="1" />p>

<p class="poetry">He assigns them their allotment;<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">he measures out their assigned place.<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">They will live there<n id="3" /> permanently;p> <p class="poetry">they will settle in it through successive generations.p>

<p class="poetry">A thoroughfare will be there &#8211;p> <p class="poetry">it will be called the Way of Holiness.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">The unclean will not travel on it;p> <p class="poetry">it is reserved for those authorized to use it<n id="2" /> &#8211;p> <p class="poetry">fools<n id="3" /> will not stray into it.p>

<p class="poetry">But these people are looted and plundered;p> <p class="poetry">all of them are trapped in pits<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">and held captive<n id="2" /> in prisons.p> <p class="poetry">They were carried away as loot with no one to rescue them;p> <p class="poetry">they were carried away as plunder, and no one says, &#8220;Bring that back!&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">He was treated harshly and afflicted,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">but he did not even open his mouth.p> <p class="poetry">Like a lamb led to the slaughtering block,p> <p class="poetry">like a sheep silent before her shearers,p> <p class="poetry">he did not even open his mouth.<n id="2" />p>
