He decorates it with overlays of silver and gold. He uses hammer and nails to fasten it ¹  together so that it will not fall over.

In your days of majesty, ¹  was not Sodom your sister a byword in your mouth,

All the leaders and people said to him, “Do not give in or agree to his demands.” ¹
