ת (Tav) Listen to my cry for help, ¹  O Lord! Give me insight by your word!

“‘You must not approach a woman in her menstrual impurity ¹  to have sexual intercourse with her.

Keep yourself ¹  far ²  from her, and do not go near the door of her house,

You must not expose the nakedness of your father’s brother; you must not approach his wife to have sexual intercourse with her. ¹  She is your aunt. ² 

When you approach a city to wage war against it, offer it terms of peace.

You will be reestablished when I vindicate you. ¹  You will not experience oppression; ²  indeed, you will not be afraid. You will not be terrified, ³  for nothing frightening ⁴  will come near you.

God ¹  said, “Do not approach any closer! ²  Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ³  ground.” ⁴ 

“‘When you present an offering of grain baked in an oven, it must be made of ¹  choice wheat flour baked into unleavened loaves ²  mixed with olive oil or ³  unleavened wafers smeared ⁴  with olive oil.

If a woman approaches any animal to have sexual intercourse with it, ¹  you must kill the woman, and the animal must be put to death; their blood guilt is on themselves.

In the morning you must approach in tribal order. ¹  The tribe the Lord selects ²  must approach by clans. The clan the Lord selects must approach by families. ³  The family the Lord selects must approach man by man. ⁴
