Now before the spies ¹  went to sleep, Rahab ²  went up ³  to the roof.

When they came down from the high place to the town, Samuel spoke with Saul on the roof.

(Now she had taken them up to the roof and had hidden them in the stalks of flax she had spread out ¹  on the roof.)
