The people of the earth will quake when they hear of their downfall. ¹  Their cries of anguish will be heard all the way to the Gulf of Aqaba. ² 

O Lord, when you departed ¹  from Seir, when you marched from Edom’s plains, the earth shook, the heavens poured down, the clouds poured down rain. ² 

the earth shakes, yes, the heavens pour down rain before God, the God of Sinai, ¹  before God, the God of Israel. ² 

The snorting of the enemy’s horses is already being heard in the city of Dan. The sound of the neighing of their stallions ¹  causes the whole land to tremble with fear. They are coming to destroy the land and everything in it! They are coming to destroy ²  the cities and everyone who lives in them!”
