<p class="bodytext">When Joseph came home, they presented him with the gifts they had brought inside,<n id="1" /> and they bowed down to the ground before him.

He then said to him, &#8220;Come home with me and eat something.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">So the men inside<n id="1" /> reached out<n id="2" /> and pulled Lot back into the house<n id="3" /> as they shut the door.

The king then said to the prophet, &#8220;Come home with me and have something to eat. I&#8217;d like to give a present.&#8221;

When Elisha arrived at the house, there was<n id="1" /> the child lying dead on his bed.

<p class="bodytext">So Abraham&#8217;s servant<n id="1" /> went to the house and unloaded<n id="2" /> the camels. Straw and feed were given<n id="3" /> to the camels, and water was provided so that he and the men who were with him could wash their feet.<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">One day<n id="1" /> he went into the house to do his work when none of the household servants<n id="2" /> were there in the house.

They stopped there and decided to spend the night<n id="1" /> in Gibeah. They came into the city and sat down in the town square, but no one invited them to spend the night.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">So David sent Tamar to the house saying, &#8220;Please go to the house of Amnon your brother and prepare some food for him.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">Then Joab got up and came to Absalom&#8217;s house. He said to him, &#8220;Why did your servants set my portion of field on fire?&#8221;

Elijah took the boy, brought him down from the upper room to the house, and handed him to his mother. Elijah then said, &#8220;See, your son is alive!&#8221;

When we invade the land<n id="1" />, tie this red rope<n id="2" /> in the window through which you let us down, and gather together in your house your father, mother, brothers, and all who live in your father&#8217;s house.<n id="3" />

The Levite<n id="1" /> said to him, &#8220;We are traveling from Bethlehem<n id="2" /> in Judah to the remote region of the Ephraimite hill country. That&#8217;s where I&#8217;m from. So now go and make a new cart. Get two cows that have calves and that have never had a yoke placed on them. Harness the cows to the cart and take their calves from them back to their stalls.

<p class="bodytext">When the servants of Absalom approached the woman at her home, they asked, &#8220;Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan?&#8221; The woman replied to them, &#8220;They crossed over the stream.&#8221; Absalom&#8217;s men<n id="1" /> searched but did not find them, so they returned to Jerusalem.<n id="2" />p>

So Jehu<n id="1" /> got up and went inside. Then the prophet<n id="2" /> poured the olive oil on his head and said to him, &#8220;This is what the <sc>Lordsc> God of Israel says, &#8216;I have designated you as king over the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s people Israel.
