Say, ‘I am an object lesson for you. Just as I have done, it will be done to them; they will go into exile and captivity.’p>

I gave it over to the leader of the nations. He has judged it thoroughly,<n id="1" /> as its sinfulness deserves. I have thrown it out.

Yet I will appoint them to keep charge of the temple, all of its service and all that will be done in it.p>

He will provide as a grain offering an ephah for each bull, an ephah for each ram, and a gallon<n id="1" /> of olive oil for each ephah of grain.<n id="2" />

When the prince provides a freewill offering, a burnt offering, or peace offerings as a voluntary offering to the <sc>Lordsc>, the gate facing east will be opened for him, and he will provide his burnt offering and his peace offerings just as he did on the Sabbath. Then he will go out, and the gate will be closed after he goes out.<n id="1" />p>

Indeed! If it was not made into anything useful when it was whole, how much less can it be made into anything when the fire has burned it up and it is charred?p>

Pharaoh with his great army and mighty horde will not help<n id="1" /> him in battle, when siege ramps are erected and siege-walls are built to kill many people.

does not engage in usury or charge interest,<n id="1" /> but refrains<n id="2" /> from wrongdoing, promotes true justice<n id="3" /> between men,

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;But suppose he in turn has a son who notices all the sins his father commits, considers them, and does not follow his father&#8217;s example.<n id="1" />

I gave them my statutes<n id="1" /> and revealed my regulations to them. The one<n id="2" /> who carries<n id="3" /> them out will live by them!<n id="4" />

And during the seven days of the feast he will provide as a burnt offering to the <sc>Lordsc> seven bulls and seven rams, all without blemish, on each of the seven days, and a male goat daily for a sin offering.

In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month, at the feast,<n id="1" /> he will make the same provisions for the sin offering, burnt offering, and grain offering, and for the olive oil, for the seven days.p>

He will provide a grain offering: an ephah with the bull and an ephah with the ram, and with the lambs as much as he wishes,<n id="1" /> and a gallon<n id="2" /> of olive oil with each ephah of grain.<n id="3" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;But if a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and practices wrongdoing according to all the abominable practices the wicked carry out, will he live? All his righteous acts will not be remembered; because of the unfaithful acts he has done and the sin he has committed, he will die.<n id="1" />p>

But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness; they did not follow my statutes and they rejected my regulations (the one who obeys them will live by them), and they utterly desecrated my Sabbaths. So I decided to pour out<n id="1" /> my rage on them in the wilderness and destroy them.<n id="2" />

&#8220;&#8216;But the children<n id="1" /> rebelled against me, did not follow my statutes, did not observe my regulations by carrying them out (the one who obeys<n id="2" /> them will live by them), and desecrated my Sabbaths. I decided to pour out<n id="3" /> my rage on them and fully vent my anger against them in the wilderness.

It will be the duty of the prince to provide the burnt offerings, the grain offering, and the drink offering at festivals, on the new moons and Sabbaths, at all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel; he will provide the sin offering, the grain offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel.p>
