For the lips ¹  of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her seductive words ²  are smoother than olive oil,

A day of the Lord ¹  is about to come when your possessions ²  will be divided as plunder in your midst.

I will take nothing ¹  except compensation for what the young men have eaten. ²  As for the share of the men who went with me – Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre – let them take their share.”

The Lord spoke to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any portion of property ¹  among them – I am your portion and your inheritance among the Israelites.

What they loved, ¹  as well as what they hated ²  and envied, ³  perished long ago, and they no longer have a part in anything that happens on earth. ⁴
