Aaron must then present the goat which has been designated by lot for the <sc>Lordsc>,<n id="1" /> and he is to make it a sin offering,

He<n id="1" /> must bring the rest of the bull outside the camp<n id="2" /> and burn it just as he burned the first bull &#8211; it is the sin offering of the assembly.p>

He must lay his hand on the head of the male goat and slaughter<n id="1" /> it in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered before the <sc>Lordsc> &#8211; it is a sin offering.

Then he must sprinkle<n id="1" /> some of the blood of the sin offering on the wall of the altar, and the remainder of the blood<n id="2" /> must be squeezed out at the base of the altar &#8211; it is a sin offering.

He must bring it to the priest and the priest must scoop out from it a handful as its memorial portion<n id="1" /> and offer it up in smoke on the altar on top of the other gifts of the <sc>Lordsc> &#8211; it is a sin offering.

But any sin offering from which some of its blood is brought into the Meeting Tent to make atonement in the sanctuary must not be eaten. It must be burned up in the fire.<n id="1" />p>

and two turtledoves or two young pigeons,<n id="1" /> which are within his means.<n id="2" /> One will be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering.<n id="3" />p>

He must not place olive oil on it and he must not put frankincense on it, because it is a sin offering.

But Aaron spoke to Moses, &#8220;See here!<n id="1" /> Just today they presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the <sc>Lordsc> and such things as these have happened to me! If I had eaten a sin offering today would the <sc>Lordsc> have been pleased?&#8221;<n id="2" />
