And Job took up his discourse again: ¹ 

Then Job continued ²  his speech:

It is terrible ¹  to show partiality ²  to the wicked, ³  by depriving ⁴  a righteous man of justice.

Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might and the beginning of my strength, outstanding in dignity, outstanding in power.

and in the place of the boil there is a white swelling or a reddish white bright spot, he must show himself to the priest. ¹ 

I also said to you at that time, “I am no longer able to sustain you by myself.

Under three things the earth trembles, ¹  and under four things it cannot bear up:

Is it not true ¹  that if you do what is right, you will be fine? ²  But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching ³  at the door. It desires to dominate you, but you must subdue it.” ⁴ 

The priest will then examine it, ¹  and if ²  a white swelling is on the skin, it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling, ³ 

But if the bright spot stays in its place, has not spread on the skin, ¹  and it has faded, then it is the swelling of the burn, so the priest is to pronounce him clean, ²  because it is the scar of the burn.

The priest is to examine it, ¹  and if ²  the swelling of the infection is reddish white in the back or front bald area like the appearance of a disease on the skin of the body, ³ 

He instructed the servant who was over his household, “Fill the sacks of the men with as much food as they can carry and put each man’s money in the mouth of his sack.

“When someone has ¹  a swelling ²  or a scab ³  or a bright spot ⁴  on the skin of his body ⁵  that may become a diseased infection, ⁶  he must be brought to Aaron the priest or one of his sons, the priests. ⁷ 

But you must obey me and set the Sabbath day apart to me. You must not carry any loads in through ¹  the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. If you disobey, I will set the gates of Jerusalem on fire. It will burn down all the fortified dwellings in Jerusalem and no one will be able to put it out.’”
