So keep the commandments, statutes, and ordinances that I today am commanding you to do.

So you must keep his ¹  commandments, live according to his standards, ²  and revere him.

You must love the Lord your God and do what he requires; keep his statutes, ordinances, and commandments ¹  at all times.

Furthermore, remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and so be careful to observe these statutes.

You must then do as they have determined at that place the Lord chooses. Be careful to do just as you are taught.

Today the Lord your God is commanding you to keep these statutes and ordinances, something you must do with all your heart and soul. ¹ 

Keep his statutes and commandments that I am setting forth ¹  today so that it may go well with you and your descendants and that you may enjoy longevity in the land that the Lord your God is about to give you as a permanent possession.

Pay attention, Israel, and be careful to do this so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in number ¹  – as the Lord, God of your ancestors, ²  said to you, you will have a land flowing with milk and honey.
