<p class="bodytext">And early<n id="1" /> in the morning they went up to the crest of the hill country,<n id="2" /> saying, &#8220;Here we are, and we will go up to the place that the <sc>Lordsc> commanded,<n id="3" /> for we have sinned.&#8221;<n id="4" />

Then the people came to Moses and said, &#8220;We have sinned, for we have spoken against the <sc>Lordsc> and against you. Pray to the <sc>Lordsc> that he would take away<n id="1" /> the snakes from us.&#8221; So Moses prayed for the people.p>
