If a ransom is set for him, ¹  then he must pay the redemption for his life according to whatever amount was set for him.

You must not offer strange incense on it, nor burnt offering, nor meal offering, and you must not pour out a drink offering on it.

And you must not go up by steps to my altar, so that your nakedness is not exposed.’ ¹ 

You are to overlay ¹  it with pure gold – both inside and outside you must overlay it, ²  and you are to make a surrounding border ³  of gold over it.

“You are to make a plate ¹  of pure gold and engrave on it the way a seal is engraved: ²  “Holiness to the Lord.” ³ 

Aaron is to burn sweet incense ¹  on it morning by morning; when he attends ²  to the lamps he is to burn incense. ³ 

When the people heard this troubling word ¹  they mourned; ²  no one put on his ornaments.

And he set the bread in order on it ¹  before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

and he burned fragrant incense on it, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

So they put foremen ¹  over the Israelites ²  to oppress ³  them with hard labor. As a result ⁴  they built Pithom and Rameses ⁵  as store cities for Pharaoh.

opened it, ¹  and saw the child ²  – a boy, ³  crying! ⁴  – and she felt compassion ⁵  for him and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.”

God ¹  said, “Do not approach any closer! ²  Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ³  ground.” ⁴ 

Now Mount Sinai was completely covered with smoke because the Lord had descended on it in fire, and its smoke went up like the smoke of a great furnace, ¹  and the whole mountain shook ²  violently.

If the sun has risen on him, then there is blood guilt for him. A thief ¹  must surely make full restitution; if he has nothing, then he will be sold for his theft.

“If you lend money to any of ¹  my people who are needy among you, do not be like a moneylender ²  to him; do not charge ³  him interest. ⁴ 

The artistically woven waistband ¹  of the ephod that is on it is to be like it, of one piece with the ephod, ²  of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twisted linen.

Every day you are to prepare a bull for a purification offering ¹  for atonement. ²  You are to purge ³  the altar by making atonement ⁴  for it, and you are to anoint it to set it apart as holy.

Aaron is to make atonement on its horns once in the year with some of the blood of the sin offering for atonement; ¹  once in the year ²  he is to make atonement on it throughout your generations. It is most holy to the Lord.” ³ 

the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the atonement lid that is on it, all the furnishings ¹  of the tent,

Moses said to Aaron, “What did this people do to you, that you have brought on them so great a sin?”
