You must love the Lord your God and do what he requires; keep his statutes, ordinances, and commandments ¹  at all times.

Then they will place their confidence in God. They will not forget the works of God, and they will obey ¹  his commands.

Today you have declared the Lord to be your God, and that you will walk in his ways, keep his statutes, commandments, and ordinances, and obey him.

and that you may so revere the Lord your God that you will keep all his statutes and commandments ¹  that I am giving ²  you – you, your children, and your grandchildren – all your lives, to prolong your days.
