and must slaughter it on the north side of the altar before the <sc>Lordsc>, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, will splash its blood against the altar&#8217;s sides.

The priest must present it at the altar, pinch off<n id="1" /> its head and offer the head<n id="2" /> up in smoke on the altar, and its blood must be drained out against the side of the altar.

Then he must sprinkle<n id="1" /> some of the blood of the sin offering on the wall of the altar, and the remainder of the blood<n id="2" /> must be squeezed out at the base of the altar &#8211; it is a sin offering.

Next he sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times and so anointed the altar, all its vessels, and the wash basin and its stand to consecrate them.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Then<n id="1" /> he is to go out to the altar which is before the <sc>Lordsc> and make atonement for it. He is to take<n id="2" /> some of the blood of the bull and some of the blood of the goat, and put it all around on the horns of the altar.

Then the priest<n id="1" /> must remove its entrails by cutting off its tail feathers,<n id="2" /> and throw them<n id="3" /> to the east side of the altar into the place of fatty ashes,

You can present them to the <sc>Lordsc> as an offering of first fruit,<n id="1" /> but they must not go up to the altar for a soothing aroma.

A continual fire must be kept burning on the altar. It must not be extinguished.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">So Aaron approached the altar and slaughtered the sin offering calf which was for himself.

The burnt offering itself they handed<n id="1" /> to him by its parts, including the head,<n id="2" /> and he offered them up in smoke on the altar,

Next he presented the grain offering, filled his hand with some of it, and offered it up in smoke on the altar in addition to the morning burnt offering.<n id="1" />

&#8220;Command Aaron and his sons, &#8216;This is the law of the burnt offering. The burnt offering is to remain on the hearth<n id="1" /> on the altar all night until morning, and the fire of the altar must be kept burning on it.<n id="2" />

Then the priest must put on his linen robe and must put linen leggings<n id="1" /> over his bare flesh, and he must take up the fatty ashes of the burnt offering that the fire consumed on the altar,<n id="2" /> and he must place them<n id="3" /> beside the altar.

Then Aaron&#8217;s sons presented the blood to him and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, and the rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.

Then the sons of Aaron, the priests, must arrange the parts with the head and the suet<n id="1" /> on the wood that is in the fire on the altar.<n id="2" />

Next, the one presenting the offering<n id="1" /> must cut it into parts, with its head and its suet, and the priest must arrange them on the wood which is in the fire, on the altar.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;You must bring the grain offering that must be made from these to the <sc>Lordsc>. Present it to the priest,<n id="1" /> and he will bring it to the altar.
