Nathan replied to the king, “You should go ¹  and do whatever you have in mind, ²  for the Lord is with you.”

He said to the king, “Don’t think badly of me, my lord, and don’t recall the sin of your servant on the day when you, my lord the king, left ¹  Jerusalem! ²  Please don’t call it to mind!

Asahel chased Abner, without turning to the right or to the left as he followed Abner.
