Moreover, Moses commanded the people that day:

Moreover, at that time I pleaded with the Lord,

Moreover, you continued to provoke the Lord at Taberah, ¹  Massah, ²  and Kibroth-Hattaavah. ³

Indeed, it was the very hand of the Lord that eliminated them from within ¹  the camp until they were all gone.

All these curses will fall on you, pursuing and overtaking you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping his commandments and statutes that he has given ¹  you.

The Lord your God will also cleanse ¹  your heart and the hearts of your descendants ²  so that you may love him ³  with all your mind and being and so that you may live.

And he ¹  brought signs and great, devastating wonders on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on his whole family ²  before our very eyes.

Then you must build an altar there to the Lord your God, an altar of stones – do not use an iron tool on them.

You have seen their detestable things ¹  and idols of wood, stone, silver, and gold.) ²
