Next, the one presenting the offering ¹  must skin the burnt offering and cut it into parts,

“‘If his offering is a votive or freewill sacrifice, ¹  it may be eaten on the day he presents his sacrifice, and also the leftovers from it may be eaten on the next day, ² 

but if ¹  he consecrates his field after the jubilee, the priest will calculate the price ²  for him according to the years that are left until the next jubilee year, and it will be deducted from the conversion value.

Next he presented the grain offering, filled his hand with some of it, and offered it up in smoke on the altar in addition to the morning burnt offering. ¹ 

Next he sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times and so anointed the altar, all its vessels, and the wash basin and its stand to consecrate them.

Next, the one presenting the offering ¹  must cut it into parts, with its head and its suet, and the priest must arrange them on the wood which is in the fire, on the altar.

Next he brought Aaron’s sons forward, and Moses put some of the blood on their right earlobes, on their right thumbs, and on the big toes of their right feet, and Moses splashed the rest of the blood against the altar’s sides.

Then he ¹  put the tunic ²  on Aaron, ³  wrapped the sash around him, ⁴  and clothed him with the robe. ⁵  Next he put the ephod on him ⁶  and placed on him ⁷  the decorated band of the ephod, and fastened the ephod closely to him with the band. ⁸ 

It must be eaten on the day of your sacrifice and on the following day, ¹  but what is left over until the third day must be burned up. ² 

Then the priest must put on his linen robe and must put linen leggings ¹  over his bare flesh, and he must take up the fatty ashes of the burnt offering that the fire consumed on the altar, ²  and he must place them ³  beside the altar.

He must put on a holy linen tunic, ¹  linen leggings are to cover his body, ²  and he is to wrap himself with a linen sash ³  and wrap his head with a linen turban. ⁴  They are holy garments, so he must bathe ⁵  his body in water and put them on.

Moses also brought forward Aaron’s sons, clothed them with tunics, wrapped sashes around them, ¹  and wrapped headbands on them ²  just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Then he presented the people’s offering. He took the sin offering male goat which was for the people, slaughtered it, and performed a decontamination rite with it ¹  like the first one. ² 

Then he ¹  cut the ram into parts, ²  and Moses offered the head, the parts, and the suet up in smoke,

He then slaughtered the burnt offering, and his sons ¹  handed ²  the blood to him and he splashed ³  it against the altar’s sides.

On that very day ¹  it must be eaten; you must not leave any part of it ²  over until morning. I am the Lord.

The meat of his ¹  thanksgiving peace offering must be eaten on the day of his offering; he must not set any of it aside until morning.

Then he presented the second ram, the ram of ordination, ¹  and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram

Moses and Aaron then entered into the Meeting Tent. When they came out, they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

“The priest must then perform the sin offering ¹  and make atonement for the one being cleansed from his impurity. After that he ²  is to slaughter the burnt offering,
