Now you say, ‘Go and say to your master, “Elijah is back.”’ ¹ 

Jeroboam then thought to himself: ¹  “Now the Davidic dynasty could regain the kingdom. ² 

Now Asa and King Baasha of Israel were continually at war with each other. ¹ 

But now, look, Adonijah has become king! But you, ¹  my master the king, are not even aware of it! ² 

So Elijah went to make an appearance before Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria. ¹ 

But now the Lord my God has made me secure on all fronts; there is no adversary or dangerous threat.

Now, O God of Israel, may the promise you made ¹  to your servant, my father David, be realized. ²

So now, look, the Lord has placed a lying spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours; but the Lord has decreed disaster for you.”
