So the young men came, ¹  wrapped him up, ²  carried him out, and buried ³  him.

They ¹  called out to ask if Simon, known as Peter, ²  was staying there as a guest.

Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out,

and came ¹  and apologized to them. After ²  they brought them out, they asked them repeatedly ³  to leave the city.

But during the night an angel of the Lord ¹  opened ²  the doors of the prison, ³  led them out, ⁴  and said,

But when the apostles ¹  Barnabas and Paul heard about ²  it, they tore ³  their clothes and rushed out ⁴  into the crowd, shouting, ⁵ 

But they covered their ears, ¹  shouting out with a loud voice, and rushed at him with one intent.

From there we put out to sea ¹  and sailed under the lee ²  of Cyprus because the winds were against us.

But Paul called out loudly, ¹  “Do not harm yourself, ²  for we are all here!”

Watch out, ¹  then, that what is spoken about by ²  the prophets does not happen to you:

We found ¹  a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, ²  went aboard, ³  and put out to sea. ⁴ 

When the brothers found out about this, they brought him down to Caesarea ¹  and sent him away to Tarsus.

She continued to do this for many days. But Paul became greatly annoyed, ¹  and turned ²  and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ ³  to come out of her!” And it came out of her at once. ⁴ 

Even on my servants, ¹  both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. ² 

So he was staying with them, associating openly with them ¹  in Jerusalem, speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord.

So Barnabas and Saul, ¹  sent out by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia, ²  and from there they sailed to Cyprus. ³ 

As Paul and Barnabas ¹  were going out, ²  the people ³  were urging ⁴  them to speak about these things ⁵  on the next Sabbath.

For unclean spirits, ¹  crying with loud shrieks, were coming out of many who were possessed, ²  and many paralyzed and lame people were healed.

Meanwhile Saul, still breathing out threats ¹  to murder ²  the Lord’s disciples, went to the high priest

but Paul chose Silas and set out, commended ¹  to the grace of the Lord by the brothers and sisters. ²
