“Do not think that I have come to bring ¹  peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.

And if the house is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. ¹ 

As you enter the house, give it greetings. ¹ 

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children ¹  of God.

leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother and then come and present your gift.

Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; just as you believed, it will be done for you.” And the servant ¹  was healed at that hour.

The ¹  crowd scolded ²  them to get them to be quiet. But they shouted even more loudly, “Lord, have mercy on us, ³  Son of David!”

But Jesus was silent. The ¹  high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, ²  the Son of God.”
