Those who heard this said, “Then ¹  who can be saved?” ² 

bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat ¹  you.

For everyone who asks ¹  receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door ²  will be opened.

For who is greater, the one who is seated at the table, ¹  or the one who serves? Is it not ²  the one who is seated at the table? But I am among you as one ³  who serves.

But ¹  those who were at the table ²  with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?”

“The one who listens ¹  to you listens to me, ²  and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects ³  the one who sent me.” ⁴ 

John ¹  answered them, ²  “The person who has two tunics ³  must share with the person who has none, and the person who has food must do likewise.”

Jesus ¹  answered them, “Those who are well don’t need a physician, but those who are sick do. ² 

“But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies, ¹  do good to those who hate you,

But ¹  indeed, ²  some are last ³  who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but ¹  the one who humbles ²  himself will be exalted.”

Those ¹  who had seen it told them how the man who had been demon-possessed had been healed. ² 

Then ¹  the experts in the law ²  and the Pharisees began to think ³  to themselves, ⁴  “Who is this man ⁵  who is uttering blasphemies? ⁶  Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

“There was a rich man who dressed in purple ¹  and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously ²  every day.

A centurion ¹  there ²  had a slave ³  who was highly regarded, ⁴  but who was sick and at the point of death.

and those who suffered from ¹  unclean ²  spirits were cured.

Blessed is anyone ¹  who takes no offense at me.”

He went ¹  to be registered with Mary, who was promised in marriage to him, ²  and who was expecting a child.

“If ¹  you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners ²  love those who love them. ³ 

Give to everyone who asks you, ¹  and do not ask for your possessions ²  back ³  from the person who takes them away.
