(He had four unmarried ¹  daughters who prophesied.) ² 

All who believed were together and held ¹  everything in common,

In ¹  Lystra ²  sat a man who could not use his feet, ³  lame from birth, ⁴  who had never walked.

All ¹  who heard him were amazed and were saying, “Is this not ²  the man who in Jerusalem was ravaging ³  those who call on this name, and who had come here to bring them as prisoners ⁴  to the chief priests?”

But the man who was unfairly hurting his neighbor pushed ¹  Moses ²  aside, saying, ‘Who made ³  you a ruler and judge over us?

“Brothers, ¹  the scripture had to be fulfilled that the Holy Spirit foretold through ²  David concerning Judas – who became the guide for those who arrested Jesus –

When the angel who had spoken to him departed, Cornelius ¹  called two of his personal servants ²  and a devout soldier from among those who served him, ³ 

Those who were with me saw the light, but did not understand ¹  the voice of the one who was speaking to me.

until another king who did not know about ¹  Joseph ruled ²  over Egypt. ³ 

who ¹  have risked their lives ²  for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. ³ 

Many of those who had believed came forward, ¹  confessing and making their deeds known. ² 

The God who made the world and everything in it, ¹  who is ²  Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by human hands, ³ 

So he said, “Who are you, Lord?” He replied, “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting!

There were more than forty of them who formed this conspiracy. ¹ 

Great ¹  fear gripped ²  the whole church ³  and all who heard about these things.

So do what ¹  we tell you: We have four men ²  who have taken ³  a vow; ⁴ 

Now those who had been forced to scatter went around proclaiming the good news of the word.

Therefore we are sending ¹  Judas and Silas ²  who will tell you these things themselves in person. ³ 

Completely baffled, they said, ¹  “Aren’t ²  all these who are speaking Galileans?

This is the man who was in the congregation ¹  in the wilderness ²  with the angel who spoke to him at Mount Sinai, and with our ancestors, ³  and he ⁴  received living oracles ⁵  to give to you. ⁶
